Cold Buffet

Full English Breakfast

For those going for the B&B option,  breakfast will be the highlight of your stay at Grove Farm House.

For breakfast, we offer a cold buffet of:

  • cereals, including homemade muesli and granola,
  • a selection of fresh fruit and a dried fruit compote – seasonal and from the garden where possible,
  • Fresh fruit juice,
  • Croissants and homemade muffins
  • Homemade toast with marmalade and jams (and yes, homemade again!).

Our traditional full English breakfast is quite a spread, with meat from Wenlock Edge Farm, and eggs from our own free-range chickens.  Often we also have a Specials Board, with other breakfasts to tempt you, for example, our version of Eggs Benedict.

For those taking the self-catering option,  you can come and have the full Grove Farm breakfast in the farmhouse dining room at an extra cost of £10 per head.  This option needs to be booked at least 2 days before and is subject to availability.

We can cater for people with special dietary needs, for example, gluten-free, dairy free etc, so please ask for details.

The Grove Farm Food Hamper

For our self-catering guests, we are now able to offer the 'Grove Farm Food Hamper' which can be ordered prior to your arrival here at Grove Farm, and will be waiting for you in your cottage or suite when your arrive on your first day.  As well as lots of goodies to help you make yourself breakfast, such as Wenlock Edge Farm bacon, eggs from our own chickens, homemade bread, granola and jams, it also contacts a few added extras such as crisps and nibbles to go with your wine in the evening, as well as homemade cake/biscuits to accompany your afternoon tea.  Click here for further information about what is included and prices.

Afternoon Tea

If you arrive at Grove Farm House Bed and Breakfast between 4pm and 6pm on your day of arrival, then you will be treated to a cup of tea and piece of cake, complimentary of course.  If you would like to splash out on a proper English Afternoon Tea of scones, with cream and jam and a selection of cakes and biscuits, then we would be very happy to provide this at a cost of £5.50 per head.
